We regret to inform all of you that JOHN LEESON will no longer be able to travel to our convention in January due to health reasons. These are never easy decisions to make for anyone and he is just as disappointed as all of us and you that he can’t be here in person, but it is far more important that John take care of himself than travel out to see us in Minnesota and we wish him all the best.
That said, John has graciously agreed to participate in a video call during our convention in January! We are currently working with John, his representatives, and our convention hotel to figure out how to make that work from a technology standpoint and we will keep all of you updated.
Additionally, we are thrilled to announce that RICHARD ASHTON, who played Friday the Ice Warrior in Peter Capaldi’s last season as the Doctor, will be joining us at CONsole Room 2020! Richard has been a regular face on UK and US TV since the 1990s, with appearances that include FIFTH ELEMENT as Mondoshowan, THE NEW ADVENTURES OF ROBIN HOOD as Little John, VIKINGS as Thorvard, OUTLANDER as Marley, and all three A CHRISTMAS PRINCE movies as Mr. Little. He will also be appearing in the upcoming film DRAGONHEART VENGEANCE, which will be released in January 2020. This is Richard’s first time to CONsole Room AND to Minnesota – we are excited to welcome him to our convention and he is excited to meet all of you!
We’re not done with updates yet and are continuing to work to bring you the exciting experience you’ve come to expect from us, including working to bring in more guests involved in the Doctor Who universe and this lovely fandom.
