Two New Author Guests

We are thrilled to announce not one, but TWO new author guests for CONsole Room 2014! Christopher Bahn and Kathryn Sullivan, both of whom are Minnesota authors, will be joining our previously-announced guests. Pre-Registration Ending in Two Weeks

Just a reminder that pre-registration for CONsole Room 2014 ends on Tuesday, 15 April, so you have just two weeks left to pre-register for the first dedicated Doctor Who convention in the Twin Cities in 20 years. If you haven’t already registered, consider getting one of our Sponsorship memberships, which not only gets you into the convention for the weekend, but also gives you some fun goodies, like an official CONsole Room t-shirt, early registration material pickup (Thursday instead of Friday), early access to the dealers room on the Friday, and more. Discounts, Discounts – Who Wants a Discount?!

Still haven’t registered for CONsole Room 2014 yet? Never fear! You have not one, but TWO, opportunities to come and register in person…at a discount, even! The first is this Friday and Saturday, 4-5th April, at our room party at Anime Detour here in Minneapolis. We’ll be on the cabana level (with all the other room parties – you can’t miss us!) in Room 230, so be sure to stop by for fun, food, trivia, and a nice reg discount. What could be better??

The second opportunity is next Tuesday, 8 April at a book club event for the North Country Gaylaxians. The book being discussed is Queers Dig Time Lords, which features an essay by our illustrious chairperson, Jason Tucker and is published by Mad Norwegian Press, whose editor-in-chief, Lars Pearson, is one of this year’s CONsole Room guests. Come along to talk about the book, meet Jason, and learn more about CONsole Room.
